A fatal accident occurred at the Harras subway station.

In Munich, a man fell in front of an incoming subway.
He was hit by the train and died.
Munich
– A tragic accident at the subway station Am Harras in Munich* Sendling cost a man his life on Saturday, April 23rd.
According to the police, the 46-year-old fell in front of an incoming subway at around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
He was fatally injured in the process.
Apparently the man had been standing at the edge of the platform and talking on the phone.
Because of this distraction, he ultimately stumbled over the edge of the platform and fell directly in front of an incoming subway train.

He fell into the track bed and was hit by the train.
According to police, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The 26-year-old subway driver had to be taken care of by a crisis intervention team.
Police did not say how many other people witnessed the incident.

The underground service was interrupted for several hours between Partnachplatz and Implerstraße. With the current status of the investigation, an accident is assumed.
The Munich traffic police took over the final processing.
Fatal accidents involving subways and suburban trains keep happening in Munich.
Most recently, a 17-year-old girl in Neugilching was hit by an S8 S-Bahn.
The teenager survived with serious injuries.
Doctors are still fighting for her full recovery.
