In the night from Friday to Saturday, the Holzkirchen police caught two drivers who had gotten behind the wheel while drunk.
Holzkirchen – The first incident, as reported by the Holzkirchen police, occurred early on Friday evening, April 22, at around 9:25 p.m. on Tölzer Straße on the outskirts of Holzkirchen in the direction of Großhartpenning.
A patrol crew stopped a 46-year-old Schaftlacher in his Audi to carry out a general traffic check.
Continuation stopped: Police pulled two drivers out of traffic
"Since the subject had a clear smell of alcohol, a voluntary breath alcohol test was carried out." This resulted in a value above the 0.5 per mille limit.
The shank laugher was not allowed to continue.
A breath alcohol test that can be used in court was carried out at the police station.
A good three and a half hours later, at around 12:05 a.m., the patrol crew caught a 28-year-old Valleyer on Heignkamer Straße, who had apparently made the same mistake: He was driving his Mercedes van with more than 0.5 per thousand breath alcohol.
"The Valleyer's continued journey was also prevented by the seizure of the vehicle key."
Fine, two points and a driving ban
Both drivers now expect a fine of 500 euros each, two points in the traffic offender file in Flensburg and a one-month driving ban.
Drunk drivers are repeatedly pulled out of traffic on Tölzer Straße.
