In Middle Franconia, a young man was apparently hit by a car and left with serious injuries.
The police is now looking for witnesses.
Feuchtwangen – A young man was probably hit by a car in the early morning hours of Saturday (April 23) in Central Franconia and was then left seriously injured.
Just recently, a similar act occurred in the Aichach-Friedberg area, when a woman was also hit by a car - she died from her injuries.

According to the police, in the case of the young man, the person involved in the accident simply fled without providing any help.
Now the police are looking for witnesses.
"Shortly before 7 a.m., a witness discovered a motionless person in the ditch and called the police and emergency services," said the police headquarters in Middle Franconia.
"It was only when the police arrived that they found out that the man must have been hit by a vehicle.
An emergency doctor also confirmed a traffic accident based on the injury pattern.”
The accident happened on the AN5 district road between Ungetsheim and Bergnerzell (Ansbach district).
According to the first investigations by the officials, the young man was at a party in Bergnerzell and had made his way home to Ungetsheim on foot at around 4 a.m.
"On the way there, he must have been hit by a previously unknown vehicle around 4:15 a.m. and thrown into the ditch with serious injuries," the police continued.
"The driver involved in the accident probably didn't take care of the injured person and just drove on without notifying the police or rescue services."

The seriously injured man was finally taken to the hospital by helicopter.
Now the Feuchtwangen police are asking all witnesses who heard anything about the case or saw a newly damaged car to report.
