The police said that the officers of the Western District Criminal Investigation Team and the Western District Task Force, after reviewing the CCTV footage and intelligence analysis, recovered the cat involved in a unit on Smithfield Street yesterday (24th). She is in good health and will be returned to the owner. A local female resident surnamed Yang (59) in the unit was arrested on suspicion of "theft" and is being detained for investigation.
It is understood that she is not acquainted with the staff of the noodle factory, and the police are investigating her motive.
