Trade association plans new long table in Dachau

News from the Dachauer Langen Tafel: The street festival in the Münchner Straße, which is one of the absolute event highlights next to the folk festival, jazz in all streets and a baroque picnic, is to take place again.

The Lange Tafel 2022 will be organized for the first time by Dachau.

The district-wide trade association wants to revive the festival after the two-year Corona compulsory break.

"We will use the restart to give new impetus and to optimize things - without changing the basic concept and the character of the Long Table as a street festival," promises Isabel Seeber, Chairwoman of Dachau, who will be involved in the Long Table until 2019 organized by IG Münchner Straße.

One of the most important innovations for 2022: “This time, regionality is even more important than before.

In line with the club philosophy of Dachau trade, we want to rely on actors, offers and services from the city and district of Dachau wherever possible and sensible,” explains Ralf Weimer, Managing Director of Dachau trade.

Finally, the Long Table serves to ensure that the members and partners of Dachau act and that all tradespeople in the city and district can present themselves to the citizens.

Dachau is already getting involved in the planning and preparations for the 2022 edition of the Long Table.

A date has already been set: If the general conditions permit, the street festival is to take place on Saturday, September 10th - as usual, i.e. on the last Saturday of the summer holidays.
