The 1st Moosinninger Hoffleamarkt was a complete success.

Donations were also collected for the Anton helper group.

Moosinning

– Did this start a nice new tradition in Moosinning?

Mayor Georg Nagler had this hope when he walked through the 1st flea market on the Gaßner family property on Erdinger Straße on Saturday.

The local block of citizens organized the flea market, and the focus of the day was on a good cause.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)

Citizens' block chairman and municipal councilor Christian Nagler emphasized that the proceeds will benefit the Anton helpers' group and thus the 14-year-old boy who lost both hands in a tragic accident in October 2021: "This was our main motivation.

The whole village has already shown so much willingness to help, and we wanted to do our part,” says Christian Nagler.

He himself and also farm owner Franz Gaßner were there as members of the fire brigade at the time.

Lots of bargain hunters at the 1st Hoffleamarkt in Moosinning

The citizens' block came up with the idea of a flea market because there had been more and more reports about such events in recent years: "They became fashionable and it's a good thing." Stand fees were explicitly waived, and there were even fees for the sellers free tables to set up: "Today we operate according to the motto 'citizens for citizens'", emphasized Christian Nagler: "These days everything is becoming more expensive.

So we wanted to give people the opportunity to buy things cheaply.”

In addition to browsing the various stands in search of a bargain or two, communication is also a priority.

You could also see that at the 1st flea market in Moosinning.

Although the sun took a break that day, many interested people flocked to the Gaßner-Hof right from the start.

Mayor Georg Nagler, Sepp Höllbauer from the Anton helpers' group and Helmut Scharlach from the citizens' block, Christian Nagler, Franz Gaßner and Georg Humplmair were happy about the success of the 1st Moosinningen flea market.

At the stands there were mainly toys and clothes for the youngsters to buy, but the grown-ups also found one or the other piece of jewelry.

The income from two stands, the organizers expressly thanked the Harms and Kaiser families, went entirely to the donation sum for the circle of helpers.

But everyone else took part, too, plus the income from the sale of steak rolls and drinks.

Many a visitor to the Hoffleamarkt then visited Franz Gaßner's new farm shop, who was able to look forward to a "win-win situation".

After a serious accident: 14-year-old Anton is doing much better

Sepp Höllbauer from the Anton helpers' circle was proud of the commitment of the citizens' block: "Meanwhile, so many great activities have emerged in the village, be it through the community itself or the various clubs.

We can still use every euro.” For example, 14-year-old Anton was delighted to receive a tablet for school lessons.

But the most important thing, according to Höllbauer: "He's doing much better now.

Anton even has his first temporary prostheses.”

Mayor Nagler was pleased that the event was a great success and emphasized: "In our town, the actions are not a flash in the pan, but there are always some spread throughout the year." He hopes that the first flea market will not be the last had been: "I am convinced that there will be a repeat in the coming year." Christian Nagler did not want to name what jumped out for the group of helpers at the end: "The willingness to give is the priority, not the sum."
