An American expert claims that the bloodstains at the murder scene of Tair Rada contradict the reconstruction of Roman Zadorov's murder.

The expert will testify today (Tuesday) on the subject, via video broadcast, on behalf of the defense in the Zadorov trial.

Paul Kish, an expert in analyzing blood stain patterns and reconstructing murder scenes, claims that the evidence of the blood stains found on the door frame of the toilet where Rada's body was found supports that the toilet door was completely closed when Rada was murdered inside the cell.

This is in contrast to Zadorov's reconstruction, in which he showed that he was standing outside the cell, near the lintel, while Tair Rada was standing inside the cell, near the lintel.

Kish's opinion relies on a photo of the murder scene, in which part of the lintel, which is hidden while the door is closed, appears to be free of blood stains.

This, except for two red spots near the keyhole that were not tested and were not sent for laboratory testing.

Kish added that in contrast to the hidden part of the door frame that was completely free of blood stains, the prominent part of the door frame was filled with stains.

"This heavy staining in the bloodstains appears continuous and extends from the inside of the cell door, which was adjacent to this area, when the door was in a completely closed position," the expert stated.

According to Kish's analysis the inside of the door was covered in bloodstains following the fight between Rada and the killer.

The expert further added that the blood stains on the inside of the door and the blood stains on the protruding part of the door frame create continuity, which could only occur if the door was closed at the time of the murder.

Kish also criticized that during the filming of the arena, the interior of the cell was not photographed while the door was closed.

According to the expert, the arena was photographed only when the door was open and the blood stains on the inside of the door were photographed separately from the stains on the two adjacent inner walls.

Kish finally determined that if the toilet cubicle door had been open during the murder, the blood spray would have come out of the cell and landed on the wall of the sinks opposite, and on the floor in front of the cell.

According to testimonies from students who entered the bathroom about an hour after the murder, no blood stains were seen in those places.

Tomorrow, Deputy Chief of Staff Yoram Azulai, who headed the murder investigation team and was the first witness in the retrial on behalf of the prosecution, will also testify at the trial.

The judges exceptionally authorized the defense attorney, Adv. Yarom Halevi, to call Azoulay for further testimony, this time on behalf of the defense.
