US police announced that one person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in the Bronx borough of New York City.
The New York Post quoted local police as saying, "The shooting occurred on Clay Street near the Cross Bronx Expressway, explaining that a 27-year-old man was shot in the chest and was later declared dead in hospital.
She added, "Two men were shot and taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment, noting that a suspect in a car fled the scene and investigations are still ongoing."
