The workshops of the General Company for Roads and Bridges branch in Lattakia started maintenance and paving of the Southern Corniche Road in the city of Jableh with a length of 4 km in both directions.
The head of the city council, Eng. Ahmed Qanadel, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the council concluded a contract with the company’s branch worth 150 million liras that includes maintenance and paving of a number of priority roads in the city, including the Corniche sea road.
Qandil indicated that the workshops had previously carried out road scraping in the destroyed sites in preparation for the paving work, indicating that the work would be completed before Eid al-Fitr.
