Russia has warned of the danger of the Kyiv regime, with Western sponsorship, orchestrating provocations using weapons of mass destruction, especially chemical ones, with the aim of accusing the Russian forces of them.
Russia's First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, referred to what was stated in a summary held last Saturday by the commander of the Russian Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, Igor Kirilov, where he stressed that the West is preparing three possible scenarios in Ukraine.
"Scenarios include theatrical orchestration of weapons of mass destruction to hold Russia responsible, or it may be on a limited scale with the utmost secrecy or on the battlefield in the event that Ukrainian forces are unable to achieve success with conventional weapons," Polyansky said.
“There is a model that has been used to orchestrate provocations in other parts of the world. First an alleged chemical accident is orchestrated, then members of pro-Western NGOs, especially the notorious (White Helmets) trainers, quickly arrive at the scene where they collect suspicious evidence with a wrongdoing,” Polyansky added. All standards of the chemical weapons non-proliferation regime are then presented to the Western media and this method is known to all.”
Polyansky pointed out that Moscow does not see an opportunity to declare a ceasefire in Ukraine at present, blaming Kyiv for not using the humanitarian corridors opened by Russian forces.
