Russian Deputy Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky revealed that there are reports appearing in the Western media confirming the innocence of the Russian army over the events in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.

Russia Today quoted Polyansky as saying that some reports that appeared recently in the Western media indirectly indicate the impossibility of the Russian army’s involvement in the events in the city of Bucha, noting that “The Guardian article confirms that civilians were killed as a result of artillery shelling and not firing from firearms and includes Also information that people were killed by shells filled with metallic elements.”

"This disproves at least two lies about Bucha, the first that people were shot dead and the second that the Russian military did it," Polyansky said.

Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitriy Polyansky, recently announced that his country does not trust any independent investigations conducted by the West and Ukraine regarding the events in Bucha, pointing out that the issue of forming an international group within the framework of the United Nations to investigate these events has not been considered.
