Region – As part of the "Blue Land Helps" campaign, the fourth truck with relief supplies has started in the direction of Lemberg.
Now the Ukrainian refugees are to be helped on the spot.
The fourth truck of the Ukraine aid campaign “The Blue Land Helps” set off from Murnau.
During the campaign, collections were made in the nine Blue Land communities – including in Großweil.
Among other things, there was a solidarity light installation at the town hall and school in the village as well as a collection of donations.
The 40-ton truck was loaded with power distribution boxes, mattresses and medical material for the city hospital in Lemberg, revealed Murnau's mayor Rolf Beuting (ÖDP/Bürgerforum) on departure.
It was the last truck to be dispatched for the time being.
However, the Blue Land aid project does not end there.
Because the relief effort is being given a new direction.
Now it's time to support refugees on site.
Whether it's recreational activities, psychological counseling or childcare - the helper groups are currently coordinating.
At the same time, money continues to be raised.
