The murder-suicide hypothesis for the two deaths, a man and a woman, on Lake Maggiore finds confirmation.
The victims are a 49-year-old woman, stabbed in her home in the center of Dormelletto, a town in the province of Novara on Lake Maggiore, and a 12-year-old younger man.
The two had for years been in a relationship that some witnesses describe as "stormy".
After killing his partner, the latter - unlike what he learned at first - did not kill himself at home but left the apartment and launched his car from a bridge in San Bernardino, in Verbano.
The investigations by the carabinieri are underway.
