The Lantenhammer distillery in Hausham wants to develop on the site of the Trigema branch.

A good year ago, four variants came onto the table.

Now a solution has been found.

Hausham – Hausham

's mayor Jens Zangenfeind (FWG) praised the construction project of the Lantenhammer distillery on the site of the old Trigema branch as a "flagship project".

The building committee of the municipal council recently dealt with the new plans of Obere Tiefenbach GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded specifically for this purpose.

The Lantenhammer representatives Tobias Maier, Anton Stetter and architect Peter Krogoll were able to convince: Based on the plans shown on Wörnsmühler Straße, the committee unanimously approved the necessary change to the development plan.

More than a year after the first presentation of four different variants, the Lantenhammer project is gaining momentum again.

When asked by our newspaper, Zangenfeind explained that he even expects "that we will be able to carry out the development plan amendment procedure in the next few months and that, at best, we can move on to an implementation phase as early as summer or autumn".

"Lighthouse" of the project: the barrel hall

First, the municipal administration commissioned a planning office to change the development plan - "in close coordination with the architects from Lantenhammer".

The mayor explains that the entire process up to the statute resolution and the start of construction should be completed in just a few months - a longer period is usual - with the advanced elaboration of the Lantenhammer plans.

These were adjusted after the municipal council's on-site visit on April 7th: The overall concept now envisages a barrel hall as a square, two-story cube on the corner between Oberer Tiefenbachstrasse and Wörnsmühler Strasse.

Harda von Poser (Greens) found its 19 meter long sides to be “quite large” – she suggested loosening up the façade on Wörnsmühler Straße.

Overall, however, the committee members had little criticism of the cube, which architect Krogoll described as the "lighthouse" of the project.

Inside there will be a showroom for the barrels of the distillery.

The wall height should be around 7.8 meters, the recessed attic floor a height of 9.6 meters.

On top, based on the old Trigema branch, which is to be demolished, a hipped roof is planned.

An office and shop building measuring 30 by 14 meters is to be built parallel to Obere Tiefenbachstraße – so to speak between the previous Lantenhammer building and the old Trigema building.

This house is planned on two floors with a wall height of 8.50 meters, has a recessed second floor and, with a ridge height of 11.3 meters, adapts to the opposite building of the Fendl carpentry, according to the meeting proposal.

28 apartment planned

In the easterly direction towards Wörnsmühl, the cube is adjoined by a 32 meter long and 8.5 meter high three-storey residential building, which, connected to a five meter wide two-storey intermediate building, leads to a second residential building that is also 32 meters long.

This does not extend parallel, but stands perpendicularly to Wörnsmühler Straße - with a wall height of around 7.5 meters.

In the middle, in a southerly direction, a kind of inner courtyard will be created by the four planned houses.

An underground car park with an entrance running parallel to Wörnsmühler Straße is planned under the site.

It should offer space for over 60 cars and be available to the residents of the 24 apartments.

There is likely to be high demand for the apartments, Stetter reported.

"We expect that mainly people who work in Hausham will move in." For example, hospital or Moralt employees would make up a large proportion of the interested parties.
