Man buys kitchen on Ebay and finds 150,000 euros hidden in it - he takes the money to the police

A man gets a big surprise when buying a kitchen on Ebay.
He finds around 150,000 euros.
The lucky kitchen owner is now entitled to a finder's fee of around 4,500 euros.
Munich – The story sounds like something out of a fairy tale.
A 50-year-old buys an old kitchen on the Ebay internet platform and finds around 150,000 euros in it.
But instead of keeping the money to himself, the man from the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district reports to the police in Köthen and hands over all the money to the officers.
The police have since identified the owner of the money.
It is an 80-year-old woman from Halle who moved into a senior citizens' facility after the death of her husband.
Apparently she didn't miss the money.

An acquaintance handled the house clearance for the elderly woman as a supervisor.
The 50-year-old picked up the kitchen, which the police said was an older model complete with a sink, worktops and various cupboards.
During construction, the man discovered two cash boxes hidden behind a drawer.
Almost everything can be bought on the Ebay internet platform.
Sometimes you even get more than just the truth you bought.

According to the spokeswoman, he was able to open a cassette.
“It contained notes of all kinds, including many 500s.
That frightened him – and he took everything to the police station.” There was also a large sum of money in the second box.
Now the honest man is entitled to a finder's fee.
He can look forward to a sum of 4500 euros.
Again and again there are unusual offers on Ebay.
Just recently, a man had offered a nuclear shelter for sale.
His ad was clicked on more than 9,000 times.
