The fifth wave of the new coronavirus outbreak continues. The Food and Health Bureau issued the latest mandatory testing announcement tonight (26th), adding 40 buildings to the list.

Yuen Long and Tuen Mun were hit hardest. A total of 10 buildings were included in the list, including Kingswood Villas, Hui King Xuan and Haidian Xuan.


Among the new buildings, 20 are private housing estates, including 3 Leighton Hill, a mansion in Happy Valley, and Block A of Paterson Building, Causeway Bay, as well as 3 blocks of Cotton Tree Garden and 3 Bauhinia Gardens in Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom; another 9 blocks are subsidized Housing and 11 public housing blocks, including Hung Huan House and Hung Lok House, Hung Fuk Estate, Yuen Long, and Ai Hong House, Tsz Oi Court, Tsz Wan Shan, etc.

Strong inspection buildings are distributed in 18 districts in Hong Kong. Yuen Long District including Tin Shui Wai has the most buildings on the list, with a total of seven buildings. Among them, there are two buildings in Hung Fuk Estate, Yuen Long, including Hung Huan Building and Hung Lok Building, and Tin Shui Wai Jia Jia. There are also two buildings in Hushanzhuang that need to be inspected, namely Green Lake Residence 4 and Lihu Residence 1, and Huijingxuan 3 in the same district.

Sham Shui Po District, Wong Tai Sin District, Kwun Tong District, Eastern District, Tuen Mun and Sha Tin District each have four buildings on the list, including two Laguna City.

Among the 20 private buildings on the list, there are 1 Hengfeng Garden in Tai Wai, 3 Cotton Tree Gardens and 3 Bauhinia Gardens in Hung Hom Whampoa Garden, Block A of Paterson Building in Causeway Bay, 3 Leighton Hill in Happy Valley and Yat Tin in Taikoo Shing There are also 11 public housing estates on the list, including Yue Ping House, Long Ping Estate, Yuen Long, Tsui Yeung House, Tsui Ping (North) Estate, Kwun Tong, Kai Yan House, Kai Tin Estate, Lam Tin, Tin Lai House, Tin Wan Village, and Chai Wan Yu Wan Village, Yu Jin Building, etc. On the same day, nine HOS or GSH projects (subsidised housing) were listed, including Lai Tong House and Lai Chess House in Lai Tsui Court, Cheung Sha Wan, Ai Hong House in Tsz Wan Shan Tsz Oi Court, Wong Tai Sin Pengcheng Court, Chai Wan Fuxin Garden Block 2, etc.

Anyone who has been in these buildings for more than two hours from April 20 to April 26 must undergo nucleic acid testing from April 27 to 28, that is, tomorrow and the day after.

The government will add or reopen mobile sampling stations tomorrow at King Hin Court of Diamond Hill and Hung Fook Estate of Hung Shui Kiu. The mobile sampling station at Chuk Yuen North Village, Wong Tai Sin will extend the service date to 28th of this month (Thursday).

In addition, a number of testing points have set up chip distribution machines, and citizens who have collected chips can view the real-time chip queuing status on the website of the Community Testing Center.

Some large mobile sampling stations have also added appointment services. The public can use the 24-hour appointment system to reserve a suitable time slot for testing.
