Independence Day 2022 is marked by a sharp increase in bookings for the vacation of a hotel or B&B in Israel.
According to data from the Travelist price comparison site, Israelis are looking for vacations in hotels in Israel, with the main destination (about 60%) being Eilat.
The Dead Sea is also in high demand - 30%, followed by the north, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem (10%).

Two nights (May 7-5) at the Dan Panorama Hotel Eilat will cost an average of NIS 2,460 per couple on a bed and breakfast basis.
At Isrotel Lagoon in Eilat, a couple will pay NIS 3,030 on an all-inclusive basis.
At the Daniel Dead Sea Hotel, the average price is NIS 2,334 per couple on a bed and breakfast basis.
In the Crowne Plaza City Center Tel Aviv NIS 2,007, in the Leonardo Boutique Tel Aviv NIS 1,267, and in the Dan Jerusalem Hotel NIS 1,776 per couple on a bed and breakfast basis for both nights.
Assaf Ben Dov, VP of Marketing for Africa-Israel Hotels (Crowne Plaza, Vert and Indigo): "We are seeing an increase in bookings for families and couples, who are using the bridge for a vacation in Israel from north to south.

At the same time, there is also quite a bit of demand for family vacations in B & Bs.
In these B & Bs of Alta Galilee Villa, very high demand is reported with an occupancy of 90% -70% already now.
Prices in Alta Galilee range from NIS 12,000-7,000 for the entire villa (about 600 square meters) for about 25 guests.
In Villa Caesar in Eilat the price starts from NIS 6,000 for up to 26 guests, in The Kees in Moshav Hosen the price is NIS 5,500 for a villa for 12 people, and in Ahuzat Galit in Safed the price will start from NIS 5,500 per night for up to 15 guests.
