Report: A magnitude 5.1 earthquake was felt tonight (Tuesday) in the northern region.
No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the quake.
As you may recall, tonight's earthquake joins several cases that were felt recently, when the last case was
February 15 - A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was felt in the northern region.
According to the Seismological Institute, the epicenter was 15 kilometers northeast of Beit She'an.
Also, on January 23, two earthquakes were felt in Israel in less than 12 hours.
On Sunday afternoon, the Home Front Command updated on a magnitude 3.5 earthquake, which probably originated about 16 km southeast of Tiberias. The night before, around midnight, an earthquake was felt in the Haifa, Krayot and Beit She'an areas.
