The Council of Ministers, in its weekly session today, headed by Engineer Hussein Arnous, affirmed that all service ministries remain fully prepared and ready to provide services to citizens during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, especially in the sectors of ovens, hospitals, firefighting and hygiene.
The Council approved the action plan of the Agricultural Production Support Fund for the year 2022 and its estimated budget of 50 billion Syrian pounds to support the General Corporation for the Multiplication of Seeds, Agricultural Production Requirements, Crops and Agricultural Products, and stressed the revitalization of the work of the General Poultry Corporation for its essential role in food security and securing the local market’s need of eggs and chicken. The Council also approved the decision related to the support provided by the Renewable Energies Support Fund and raising energy efficiency for the targeted sectors with the aim of launching renewable energy projects for domestic, agricultural, industrial, commercial and service purposes in a manner that achieves the optimal investment for these energies.
Engineer Arnous stressed the importance of continuous cooperation between ministries, unions and federations and their participation in preparing plans and decisions related to the work of the sectors they represent in a way that ensures optimal decisions and achieving common benefit, stressing the importance of setting a general framework for organizing the work of professional unions to develop their work mechanisms and exercise the role entrusted to them in improving conditions its affiliates.

The Council of Ministers approved the two draft notifications that include amending the land plans manual and determining its productive capacity to obtain approval to establish investments on lands outside the organizational plans, and the controls and instructions governing licensing agricultural and industrial establishments based on agricultural production and service facilities and settling the status of existing ones before its issuance.
