Law enforcement officials on Monday released a set of video evidence in the ongoing investigation into the fatal October shooting of actor-producer Alec Baldwin of a cinematographer on the set of a western movie.

Files released by the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office include video of investigators questioning Baldwin in an office just hours after the fatality.

The investigation files also include rehearsal clips showing Baldwin in disguise practicing a quick draw maneuver with a pistol.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said in a statement that his agency's investigation remains open and ongoing pending the results of FBI forensic and ballistic analyses, as well as fingerprint and of DNA.

"The sheriff's office is releasing all files associated with our ongoing investigation," he

said in the statement.

This also includes photos of the ammunition on the set and test reports.

At a ranch outside Santa Fe on Oct. 21, 2021, Baldwin was pointing a gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins when the gun went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.

They had been inside a small church during preparations for the shooting of a scene.

In a video recorded by police later that day, Baldwin makes desperate calls while waiting for a meeting with authorities.

"You have no idea how amazing this is and how weird it is," he

says over the phone.

The New Mexico Occupational Safety and Health Office stated that Rust Movie Productions must pay $136,793, and distributed a scathing account of safety lapses that violate standard industry protocols, including testimony that production managers took action limited or none to fix two misfires on set before the deadly shootout.

The bureau also documented

gun safety complaints by team members that went unheeded

and said weapons specialists were not authorized to make decisions about additional safety training.

Rust Movie Productions has indicated that it will contest the findings and sanction.

Baldwin told ABC News in a December interview that he was on set pointing the gun at Hutchins at her instruction when the device went off without him pulling the trigger.
