In December 2020, pop star Nicole Seibert was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Now the 57-year-old speaks for the first time about this shock diagnosis.

Nicole Seibert (57), who suddenly became famous with hits like "A Little Peace" or "Don't Fly So High, My Little Friend", has breast cancer.
The 57-year-old is said to have found out about it as early as December 2020.

A diagnosis that took the ground under her feet within a few seconds of the well-known pop singer.
It's been almost two years since doctors discovered two tumors in Nicole Seiber's right breast.

she now spoke about the shock diagnosis and her fight against the insidious disease.
“The diagnosis in December 2020 was a shock.
Time stopped.
My life ran in slow motion like a movie in me,” says the “Eurovision Song Contest” winner from 1982. Then she adds: “I just thought: not me!”

Nicole underwent surgery immediately after the diagnosis.
Nine chemotherapy sessions followed.
Although the tumors were small, they were extremely aggressive.
But the 57-year-old didn't give up!

Nicole was lucky in misfortune.
At the time of the diagnosis, she actually wanted to be on the plane to Cape Town - but the corona crisis kept canceling the flights, which is why she and her husband then decided to stay at home.

However, the story did not end quite as lightly as with the pop singer.
