That was probably part of a nationwide campaign: Two activists wanted to interrupt the German Transalpine crude oil pipeline near Niederambach on Wednesday.
Niederambach
- Two environmental activists (40 and 47), who do not come from the district, climbed over the fence of the outdoor facilities at the Niederambach pumping station, which was wrapped in barbed wire, and advanced to the station.
Then they wanted to trigger the slider with a switch to stop the distribution of crude oil.
Thanks to the station's surveillance system, the company was able to inform the police.
Forces of PI Moosburg ended the disruptive action.
The two activists were arrested.
