A resident of Stuttgart shared a letter from SWR on Twitter, which gave specific information about the next location.

Attention Tatort fans from the Ländle: In mid-May, shooting for the episode "Forgiveness" will take place in Stuttgart.
A letter from residents provides the decisive indication of this.
Stuttgart – When Thorsten Lannert (Richy Müller) and Sebastian Bootz (Felix Klare) investigate the crime scene, crime fans from the Ländle are particularly happy.

According to insider circles, the thriller should celebrate its TV premiere in 2023.
