Level 3 fire in Tsuen Wan | 2 injured man escaped from modular house explosion

A third-level fire broke out in Tsuen Wan and two people were injured. Today (28th) at about 6:30 in the morning, there was an open-air car park opposite the Cable TV Building on Hoi Shing Road. It was reported that the office of the prefab at the bottom of the bridge on Tsuen Wan Road suddenly caught fire and a large amount of black smoke attacked.

Today (28th) at about 6:30 in the morning, there was an open-air car park opposite the Cable TV Building on Hoi Shing Road. It was reported that the office of the prefab at the bottom of the bridge on Tsuen Wan Road suddenly caught fire, sending a large amount of black smoke into the air.

The scene could be seen covering the Tsuen Wan Road bridge deck, and there were multiple explosions.

Due to the intensity of the fire, the fire department raised the fire alarm to level three at 6:50 in the morning. The fire area was about 20 meters by 30 meters.


According to reports at the scene, a man suspected of jumping to the ground in a panic while escaping was injured, he fell into a coma for a time, and then recovered.

In addition, ambulancemen also found another injured person outside the parking lot. He was conscious from scratches on his hands and feet.

According to reports, the thick smoke can also be clearly seen from the outside of Tsing Yi Island. Affected by the wind, some of the thick smoke blew towards the Tsuen King Wai area, and some residents said they smelled a strong smell of burning gum.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
