An opinion poll in France showed that most French people oppose President Emmanuel Macron's party obtaining a majority in Parliament in the legislative elections that will be held next June.
French media reported that the poll conducted by the Elabe Foundation and its results were published today, revealed that 61 percent of French voters prefer that the parliamentary elections result in an "opposition to Macron's majority", and that percentage increases to 69 percent among working-class voters and to nearly 90 percent. between "far-right and far-left electors".
After Macron's victory in the presidential elections this month, his "Republic on the Move" party seeks to win an absolute majority in parliament, and if he is unable to do so, he will be forced to conclude an agreement to reach a ruling coalition with other parties.
