The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission warned today that the health condition of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer, is going through a critical and dangerous stage.
According to Wafa Agency, the authority indicated that the prisoner Abu Hamid still suffers from severe pain throughout his body and can only walk by means of a wheelchair. He is constantly accompanied by an oxygen cylinder to help him breathe and the movement of his limbs has become very weak due to the policy of medical neglect followed against him and all sick prisoners in occupation prisons.
The authority explained that the occupation is procrastinating in conducting the necessary tests for Abu Hamid and following up on the chemotherapy sessions, despite the deterioration of his health, which cannot be postponed.
And the prisoner Abu Hamid, 49, is not the only one that the occupation deliberately pursues against him with a policy of medical negligence.
