If you like beef or chicken hamburger, Chef Avi Bitton brings you a juicy and rich recipe for a meatball full of flavored turkey

Ingredients (5 servings):

  • 1/2 kg ground female shawarma turkey

  • 2 finely chopped onions

  • 2-3 tablespoons oil

  • 2 cloves chopped garlic

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard berries

  • 1 tablespoon smoked Spanish paprika

  • 2 tablespoons bread crumbs

To serve:

  • 5 hamburger rolls

  • mayonnaise

  • mustard

  • ketchup

  • 5 slices of tomato

  • 5 lettuce leaves

  • 10 slices of pickled cucumbers

Preparation:

  • Heat a pan with oil and fry the onion until golden, add the garlic, stir for half a minute and remove from the heat.

    Coolers.

  • Mix the fried onion and garlic (with the oil) together with the ground turkey, mustard, smoked paprika and bread crumbs.

    Mix well with your hands.

  • With wet hands form five burgers, and place them on a tray lined with baking paper.

Refrigerate for an hour and possibly even overnight.

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Heat a pan well with a little oil and roast the burgers for two minutes on each side until golden.

They are not ready from the inside yet, which is fine.

Transfer the burgers to the oven and complete the preparation for another five minutes.

  • Meanwhile, heat the rolls in the pan in which we roasted the burgers.

Spread with mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard, fill with burger, vegetables and lettuce and serve.
