The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation continues, in full view of the world, to deepen its illegal settlement plans throughout the Palestinian territories, undermining the chances of reaching a settlement of the Palestinian issue.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the large-scale looting and theft of Palestinian lands carried out by the occupation in the northern Jordan Valley in the service of settlement, in conjunction with its continuing ethnic cleansing and displacement and its attempt to abolish the Palestinian presence in it.

The Foreign Ministry clarified that the occupation and its settlers continue to steal Palestinian lands and their attacks on Palestinian homes in the cities of the West Bank amid double international standards for fear of holding the occupation responsible for its violations, crimes and violations of international law.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the international community's continued ignoring of the dangers of the disastrous settlement plans of the occupation provides the cover for the occupation to continue its violations and crimes against the Palestinians and its violations of international law and the Geneva Conventions.
