At the start of 'Extralibera', the days against mafias and corruption

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 28 - Two days of work and discussion to take stock of the state of the fight against the mafia and corruption in our country, with particular attention to what is happening in Europe and in the rest of the world, putting together experiences and concreteness.

At via Extralibera, the days of Free Counter-Mafia Corruption which will take place in Rome, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 April 2022. The objective of the two days is to denounce the danger of a "normalization" of the mafia and corrupting viral infection, infection from which our Country must decide to heal once and for all.

Normalization because the current variant of the mafia virus is apparently asymptomatic, it acts under the radar, undermining the foundations of democracy in the shadows.


    The ExtraLibera program, the two days of Counter-Mafia Corruption, opens tomorrow, Friday 29 April with an intervention by Luigi Ciotti, with a video message from the President of the Chamber Roberto Fico, greetings from NicolaZingaretti, the testimony of Piero Nava, the first witness of justice.

The first day ends with a round table with Rosy Bindi (former president of the Antimafia Parliamentary Commission), Nando dalla Chiesa (Honorary President of Libera), Federico Cafiero de Raho (former National Anti-Mafia and Antiterrorism Attorney), Gian Luca Trequattrini (Responsible for ethics and prevention corruption of the Bank of Italy), Luigi Ferrucci (President of FAI - Federation of anti-racket and anti-usury associations).

Saturday 30 April opens with a video message from the Minister of Justice Marta Cartabia and the participation,

among others, by Giuseppe Busia - President of ANAC, Maurizio Vallone - Director of the Antimafia Investigation Department, Maurizio Landini - National Secretary of the CGIL, StefanoCiafani - President of Legambiente.
