KMB purchased 42 BYD double-decker electric buses earlier. The latest exposed design shows that the body is the same as the single-decker electric bus, and the body color is also cyan.

KMB once introduced the blue color of single-deck electric buses as "electric green".

According to KMB’s information, the BYD double-decker electric bus to be introduced in the future is 12 meters long and is expected to carry 115 people, with a range of about 320 kilometers and about 402 horsepower.

KMB also purchased 10 double-decker electric buses from Alexander Dennis in the United Kingdom, which are higher in passenger capacity and horsepower than BYD double-decker electric buses. It is expected to carry 120 people and have about 256 horsepower, but the endurance is slightly lower. There are about 300 kilometers.

KMB also revealed that, like some existing double-decker buses, the British double-decker electric bus will be equipped with solar panels on the roof, which can supply power to the bus facilities.

KMB said that it expects to upgrade its entire fleet to new energy buses by 2050 to achieve zero emissions.
