Herzogsägmühle – Wilfried Knorr has been working in Herzogsägmühle since the late 1980s and has been director of the Diakoniedorf since 2004;
at the end of 2022 he will retire at the age of 64.
The position is already advertised.
Applications are possible until the end of April.
At the annual press conference on Thursday, Wilfried Knorr and Johann Rock, both managing directors of the Diakonie Herzogsägmühle and both on the board of the Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria, informed about the upcoming changes.
The key personnel issue is the regulation of Knorr's successor.
Over 30 applications had come, informed Knorr and Rock.
The board of the Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria will soon appoint a managing director.
It would be ideal if the new person could start on October 1st so that there is a three-month overlap.
The range of tasks, but also the area in which one works, has been expanded for Herzogsägmühle and its many offices in southern Upper Bavaria and in the Allgäu over the years.
In the meantime, the Diakonie in Herzogsägmühle, including all subsidiaries, has almost 2,500 full-time and part-time employees.
After serving as an officer in the German Armed Forces, Knorr started working for youth welfare in Herzogsägmühle in 1989.
He has three sons with his wife and lives in Frankenhofen.
For his farewell, he and his son would like to work out a program for two cabaret evenings in October.
