The events of Holocaust Martyrs 'and Heroes' Remembrance Day, which opened last night (Wednesday) at the main ceremony at Yad Vashem, will continue today.
At 09:30, a memorial candle lighting ceremony will be held at the Knesset.
The ceremony will be attended by the President of the German Parliament, the Bundestag, Barbel Bass, who came to Israel to accompany the events of Holocaust Remembrance Day.
At 10:00 a two-minute siren will sound.
After the siren, the wreath-laying ceremony will begin at Yad Vashem.
At 11:00, a "everyone has a name" event will be held in the Knesset, where the names of Holocaust victims will be read.
At 13:00, the state memorial service will open at the Yizkor Tent at the Yad Vashem Museum.
At 14:00 there will be a parade of life in Poland, which will take place in the Birkenau and Auschwitz camps.
At 20:00, a closing rally of Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day will be held at the Ghetto Fighters' House.
