The Islamic Jihad organization today (Thursday) showcased a UAV named Jenin, which it claims is already operating in the Gaza Strip. According to the organization, the UAV - named "Jenin", hit an IDF jeep in September 2019. "The UAV returned [then] to its base in peace. Let the enemy do its calculations and think about what our capabilities are three years after this attack," said Abu Hamza, a spokesman for the Islamic Jihad's military wing in the Gaza Strip.
On the date in question, a skimmer did cross the fence from the south of the Gaza Strip, threw an explosive device near the perimeter fence and immediately returned to the Gaza Strip.
The IDF said at the time that there was minor damage to a military vehicle, and that there were no casualties in the incident. In response, IDF aircraft fired at the terrorist cell that launched the glider.

"We emphasize the existing equation that harming al-Aqsa means starting a war with the enemy," Abu Hamza said.
"Injury to both al-Aqsa and the holy sites will open up several different and extensive fronts. Let no one ask about the geography of the next war that will go beyond the borders of Palestine. We will continue to defend the dignity of our people and not stop at any station."
