At the annual general meeting of the Kirchasch fire brigade, there was a great atmosphere in the Gasthaus Bauer.
The core of the Management Board remains the same.

Chairman Hubert Strasser was delighted with the number of participants: "I would not have thought that so many would be here on a Monday evening." A total of 50 members entitled to vote attended.
Strasser reported on four new members who had started fire service last year.
The military now has 222 members, 57 of whom are active and 165 passive.
The review of the year 2021 was brief, because there was nothing going on in the first half of the year due to the Corona situation.
Strasser has fond memories of Andre Zierer's wedding, where the fire brigade organized a hose trellis for the bridal couple.
The traditional battle bowl meal on October 31 is to be reformed this year.
The reason for this is the meager number of visitors in 2021.
Financially, the fire brigade had to accept a minus.
Treasurer Nikolaus Widl reported expenses of 7857 euros.
The income amounted to 4503 euros.
As a result, the savings account of the fire brigade shrinks – “thanks to Corona”, says Widl – to a good 31,000 euros.
Cash auditor Georg Mesner, who has been in office for more than 30 years, confirmed the flawless management of the cash register.
According to the requirement plan, a multi-purpose replacement vehicle must be purchased.
The fire department is currently in the screening phase.
"We have formed the same working group that has proven its worth in the past," explained Commander Josef Vieregg.

According to him, the active firefighters have an average age of 34 years.
"We were younger before," he joked.
District Fire Councilor Willi Vogl took this as an opportunity for personal wisdom: "I always say: The younger ones may have faster legs, but the older ones know all the shortcuts."
Vieregg is proud of the courses offered by the municipality, which are well attended by young people.
He also praised the commitment of the “Kirchascher Frauenpower” – seven are active.
The military had to deploy 16 times in 2021.
Manfred Schwinghammer (12), Andre Zierer and Johannes Bals (11 each) received a big round of applause for most of their appearances.
The motto for the new elections was: make new from old.
Strasser and his deputy Manfred Schwinghammer were re-elected, as were Nikolaus Widl (treasurer) and Alex Schwinghammer (2nd treasurer).
The task of secretary is again taken over by Matthias Wunderlich, who will be supported in future by second secretary Katharina Rieger.
There were also honors.
Anton Schön, Monika Ernst, Celina Oberle, Jennifer Oberle, Katrin Strasser, Stefan Schwinghammer and Maxi Brandmeir were honored for ten years of active service.
Michael Holup, Johannes Bals and Stefan Gartner received awards for 20 years.
Georg Maier received a gift from the community for 40 years.
Because of their loyalty to the club for many years, Georg Mesner and Franz Baumgartner were promoted to honorary members.
