This upsets the man who was the first to cause the accident.

He attacks the opponents of transmission towers.

Münsing

– It could have turned out very differently: on Wednesday afternoon, a tractor fell over on Seeuferstrasse in Ambach.

The driver (74) and a three-year-old child (3) were only slightly injured.

According to the police investigation, the senior had left the roadway to the right due to carelessness.

The property damage amounts to 6000 euros, the road was closed for 45 minutes.

That sounds like a normal police report at first.

However, the accompanying circumstances were relatively dramatic.

The first at the scene of the accident was Albert Baumgartner (55) from Aufkirchen, who drove 30 children home from the Münsinger elementary school by bus.

"Of course, at first glance, you don't know what's going on," he said.

He tried for 20 minutes to activate the emergency call - in vain.

There was simply no network.

He continued the journey, only shortly before Degerndorf his mobile phone logged on.

For Baumgartner, the case clearly shows: "Mobile radio can save lives." He wonders: "What would have happened if a person had been lying under the tractor?" use their cell phone keenly - resist the erection of transmission towers.

"For me, that borders on failure to provide assistance." He appeals to the municipality of Münsing to immediately advance the supply of the districts.

Mayor Michael Grasl is aware of the dead spots in Holzhausen, Degerndorf and Ambach.

He says: “It's not because of the community that there is such resistance.

On the contrary, we have been demonstrably trying to find solutions for years.” He regrets that many citizens lack confidence that the municipality is striving to provide the necessary care while minimizing the risk to health.

“As municipalities, we did not choose the emotional topic of mobile communications.

It was imposed on us.”
