“Is this for me?” she replied bewildered.

After opening it and looking at it, she continued with the presentation undaunted, leaving a big question mark among the audience.

revealed the mystery: the envelope contained papers related to the custody of his children and sent by the legal team of his ex-partner, also an actor Jason Sudeikis.

Sources close to Sudeikis, star of the television series

, confirmed by email that "the papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction over the children of the ex-partner."

The source added that Sudeikis "had no prior knowledge of the time or place the envelope would have been delivered, as this depended solely on the process service company involved and he would never approve of her being notified in such a way. inappropriate."

Wilde and Sudeikis broke up in November 2020 after nine years together.

They got engaged in 2013 but never got married.

The couple share two children: Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5.

"Never in the history of the convention have we had an incident where a delegate has approached the stage without authorization," Neuhauser said.

"In light of this incident, we are re-evaluating our security protocols to ensure the safety of all of our attendees," he added.

Wilde and Sudeikis have not publicly commented on the matter.

Wilde, however, has posted on her Instagram account a still image from the upcoming film she has directed, starring her boyfriend and actors Florence Pugh and Chris Pine.
