Damascus-SANA

The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection announced the continuation of the work of the complexes, halls and outlets of the Syrian Corporation for Trade and Bakeries of the Syrian Corporation for Bakeries in all governorates during the Eid Al-Fitr and Labor Day holidays.

The ministry clarified in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the work of the Syrian trade halls will be on shift according to a schedule showing the name and address of the complex, the hall or the alternate sales outlet in each governorate, and it will be published on the ministry’s website and Facebook page.

The ministry indicated that the continuation of the work of complexes, halls and outlets comes within the framework of seeking to provide the basic needs of citizens, confirming the availability of a wide variety of food and consumer goods, family requirements, vegetables and fruits at reasonable and appropriate prices, in addition to selling subsidized materials and positive intervention materials via the electronic card.

The Foundation indicated that all Syrian bakeries in all governorates continue to operate normally and at full production capacity during the holidays, with the aim of providing bread to citizens on a daily basis, with the exception of its weekly holiday on Friday.

Last Tuesday, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued a communication to suspend public authorities from Sunday 1-5-2022 until the end of official working hours on Thursday 5-5-2022, on the occasion of the Labor Days and the Happy Eid al-Fitr.
