Romina Palm, a former candidate for "Germany's Next Top Model" (GNTM), answered fan questions on Instagram.

One was about a new tattoo - where Romina said she first changed an old one.

She wants to put an “unpleasant time” behind her.

Cologne – Since her participation in "Germany's Next Topmodel" (GNTM) (here all the news on the topic page), where she even made it to the final in 2021, Romina Palm is known to some TV viewers in Germany.

Her followers on Instagram, who now number more than 800,000, also testify to this.

She answered a few questions on Wednesday (April 27) – among other things, it was also about tattoos.

In contrast to the past, tattoos are no longer an exclusion criterion for models - keyword diversity - so that a fan would like to know whether Romina, who is already tattooed, has had another tattooed one.

The 22-year-old responds with a before and after photo that leaves some questions unanswered.

"I changed an old tattoo a bit," writes the former GNTM candidate and posts two pictures: one of her old tattoo, a semicolon on her wrist, and one of her new one.

Because the influencer turned the punctuation mark with the comma and the period into a winking smiley with the help of a bracket.

Here's the result," writes the model, who got red hair from Heidi Klum's GNTM makeover, in her Instagram story.

Romina, who lives in Cologne, leaves it open what exactly this “unpleasant time” is all about – but you quickly come across the general meaning of a semicolon tattoo on the Internet.

According to this, there is the US organization "Project Semicolon", which wants to be a support for people who are struggling with fear, lost love, suicidal thoughts, depression or sadness.

Whether Romina also had such experiences in the past and therefore had the punctuation mark stung is, of course, pure speculation.

However, this explanation would certainly fit with the statement that the tattoo reminds you of an "unpleasant time".

Anyway, the semicolon tattoo on Romina Palm's wrist is now history.

Instead, a winking smiley smiles at her from there every day.

And if it puts the difficult times behind it, all the better.
