Kate Middleton has big plans once Prince William is king.

She is impatiently waiting to finally be able to throw "outdated royal rules" overboard.

That should change.

A historically significant role awaits the Duchess of Cambridge (40) when she is used as the "Queen Consort", as the king's wife.

The wife of the future heir to the throne Prince William (39) has long thought about how she will fill this part with life.

One thing is certain: she is already looking forward to cutting off old royal braids.

Kate Middleton's reform plans once Prince William is king

For Kate Middleton, the dream of becoming queen will most likely come true.

In addition, the 2000s bring opportunities that have never existed before.

She is intended as a "Colonel of the Grenadier Guards".

She would replace Prince Andrew, 62, who was stripped of his military titles following the abuse scandal that ended in a settlement.

She would be the first woman after Queen Elizabeth II (96) to hold this prestigious post since 1942, when she was Princess Elizabeth.

Kate has earned her spurs.

Since marrying into the royal family in 2011, her reputation and merit as well as her popularity have steadily increased.

In some polls she has even overtaken Prince William.

Kate Middleton's reform plans call for a change to the old set of rules

Palace sources tell Us Weekly that Kate wants to change the existing rulebook when she is believed to sit next to Prince William on the British throne after future Queen Consort, Duchess Camilla (74).

The insider says, "She has a huge presence on social media and has made it a habit to do TV interviews and virtual chats."

She intends to continue doing so in the future.

Together with William, she dares to take on the highest principle according to which Queen Elizabeth II has always acted.

"Never explain, never complain" - don't explain anything, don't complain.

The "Cambridge Way" envisages ending the standstill.

It's not out of sheer reformism that William and Kate want to jettison the mantra.

Her trip to the Caribbean was met with massive criticism, with demonstrators greeting her with banners reading 'Reparation Now', 'Down with neo-colonialism' and 'Britain your debt is clear'.

Kate Middleton's reform plans put an end to standing still

William released a statement after the heated argument, stressing that he and Kate were only interested in a "brighter future" for the Commonwealth, not who would lead it.

"It's about serving them and supporting them in the ways that they think is best, using the platform that we're fortunate to have."

Prince Charles (73) also admitted the "appalling atrocity of slavery" during a trip to Barbados last year.

Like the young royals, he has long understood that political statements are part of the modern monarchy.
