The two were in critical condition and stayed in the hospital for many days. Until yesterday (28th), the 28-year-old grandson unfortunately died of serious injuries, while the 76-year-old grandmother's condition became serious.
Another 57-year-old male suspect remains in hospital and is in stable condition.

The incident happened at 2:25 a.m. last Sunday. The police received multiple reports that a unit on the 19th floor of Fung Wai Building, San Tin Wai Village, Shatin was blazing brightly and a large amount of smoke was coming out.
The fire extinguished the fire nearly an hour after the fire arrived at the scene, and the investigation director found a combustion accelerant at the scene.
The 57-year-old suspect surnamed Feng Nan was in a low mood before committing the crime. He suspected that he attempted suicide by burning a newspaper. After setting the fire, he burned the debris outside the door. The fire quickly spread to the neighbors on the same floor, and a total of 6 people, including the suspect, were injured.
Police found two fruit knives on the suspect and arrested him on suspicion of arson and possession of offensive weapons.
The 76-year-old surnamed Ye and the 28-year-old surnamed Xiao were sent to the hospital in a coma at the time for emergency treatment. In addition, the suspect had second-degree burns on his upper body and back and was also sent to the hospital for treatment.
