China today successfully sent two satellites into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest of the country.
According to Xinhua, the two satellites (SIWI 01) and (02) were launched aboard a Long March 2C carrier rocket and entered the planned orbit.
The two satellites will provide commercial services for remote sensing data to industries including surveying and mapping, environmental protection as well as urban security and rural digital development.
It is noteworthy that this is the 417th mission of the Long March series of missiles.
