A 31-year-old woman was stabbed to death on the street in Berlin-Pankow.
A few hours later, the police arrested a 42-year-old.
The urgent suspect is said to have six children together with the woman.
Berlin – A 31-year-old woman was stabbed on the street in Berlin-Pankow – according to initial findings from her partner.
The 42-year-old suspect was arrested and is said to have six children with the victim, a police spokesman said.
The man is urgently suspected of having killed the woman on Friday morning.
A relationship act may be in the room, the spokesman said.

According to initial findings, the 31-year-old was so badly injured on Friday around 10 a.m. on the corner of Maximilianstrasse and Mühlenstrasse that she died on the spot.
The perpetrator fled, it said.
Several people saw the act.
Around 1 p.m., emergency services arrested the 42-year-old in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene after witnesses recognized him.
"He has apparently returned," the spokesman said.
