The opposition responds to López Obrador before the electoral reform presented in the Mexican Congress

Profound changes to the Mexican electoral system, ranging from the modification of the National Electoral Institute to the reduction of legislators in both chambers, make up the proposal presented this Thursday by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The goal, according to the president, is to improve the quality of democracy in Mexico and lower the costs of the entire system.
