Two former Cathay Pacific flight attendants pleaded guilty to violating prevention and control regulations

Two former Cathay Pacific flight attendants were involved in unnecessary activities during the medical surveillance period after arriving in Hong Kong from the United States last year. Two former Cathay Pacific flight attendants were involved in unnecessary activities during medical surveillance after arriving in Hong Kong from the United States last year. One of them was involved in a lunch at Mochizuki Tower in Festival Walk, and both of them were diagnosed with the 2019 coronavirus disease Omicron variant virus strain.

They admitted today (29th) that they violated the prevention and control regulations.


The two male defendants, Huang Yulong (45 years old) and Liu Nuohong (44 years old), both reported being unemployed.

They were charged with one count and two counts of "failure to comply with conditions specified by the health officer as a person subject to medical surveillance regulations".

The charge alleges that on December 25, 2021, Wong failed to comply with the conditions specified in the Medical Surveillance Notice issued by the Health Officer on 24 December 2021, namely self-isolation under the exemption conditions specified by the Chief Secretary for Administration.

On December 25 and 27, 2021, Lau failed to comply with the conditions specified in the Medical Surveillance Notice issued by the Health Officer on 25 December 2021, namely self-isolation under the exemption conditions specified by the Chief Secretary for Administration.
