A woman drove from Grafing to Aßling with 3.6 per thousand.

She endangered several other road users, demolished her car and was eventually stopped by a courageous driver.

The police are investigating.

Grafing/Aßling – The woman was on Friday evening around 9:30 p.m. on state road 2080 from Grafing to Aßling, according to the Ebersberg police.

She caught the eye of a driver because of her unsafe driving style.

The man called the police.

Drunk woman drives against traffic signs

After leaving Grafing near Munich, the woman's car left the roadway and damaged a traffic sign and a road delineator.

The woman drove on, continued to show an unsafe driving style and ran into oncoming traffic several times, so that oncoming vehicles had to brake hard and give way.

After entering Aßling, the witness who had called the police was able to stop the car by blocking the further route with his car.

The breath alcohol test shows 3.6 per thousand

"When the officers from the Ebersberg Police Inspectorate arrived, the badly damaged vehicle and the 37-year-old heavily intoxicated driver were found.

A breath alcohol test showed a value of around 3.6 per thousand," says the police in their report.

Because the woman was under the influence of alcohol, a blood sample was taken at the Ebersberg hospital.

The current property damage is estimated at 5,000 euros.

Criminal proceedings were initiated against the driver of the vehicle for endangering road traffic and illegally leaving the scene of the accident.

Witnesses who have observed the situation and can provide relevant information or who have been endangered themselves by the driving style of the 37-year-old are asked to contact the Ebersberg police inspection on 08092/82680.
