The art exhibition, which opened today on the occasion of the International Quds Day at the Iranian Cultural Center in Latakia, included 15 paintings by Syrian and Iranian plastic artists that expressed rejection of the occupation in all its forms and forms and called for the liberation of occupied Jerusalem and exposing the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people.

The exhibition, titled “Jerusalem is the Axis,” comes according to the Iranian cultural attaché, Alireza Fadavi, as part of a series of activities on the occasion of International Quds Day.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Fadwa explained that the exhibition is a message to confirm the support of the Palestinian people in their just cause and their steadfastness in the face of the brutal crimes of the occupation.

In turn, the teacher of Persian literature at the center, Dr. Ramez Al-Liwa, stressed the importance of art in supporting the Palestinian cause and demonstrating the brutality of the Israeli occupation, because the image is sometimes more eloquent and stronger than bullets.

For his part, the plastic artist Bassam Nasser expressed his happiness with the exhibition, which reminds of the Palestinian cause and the bitter injustice, displacement and persecution practiced by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people.
