Expensive prices for moderate quality - this is the feedback from some Europa-Park visitors who are currently complaining about the food on offer.

Rust - Europa-Park Rust is actually one of the most popular destinations in Germany.

From time to time, however, the operators also struggle with criticism.

Fans recently grumbled about the more expensive park entry fee in the new season, and the surcharge for spontaneous visitors also caused trouble.

Park fans again expressed their displeasure and complained about the quality of the food and long waiting times, as reported by BW24.

“We had to wait in line for 1.5 hours.

And the food was just awful," wrote a user on Europa-Park's Facebook page.

Another added, "I'm sorry to say that the restaurants are good, but I find the food at the food stalls very creepy." Others agree with the observation.

“Hopefully the quality will improve again.

In Ireland in particular, this suffered extremely last year.

But it was recognizable from across the park.

Please go back to the old standards,” wishes a park fan.

Europa-Park: Visitors complain about food price increases

In addition to the quality of the food, visitors also criticized the prices in the restaurants.

"I think it's crazy how prices have risen compared to last year," writes one visitor.

“In the Seerestaurant there is only one dish for less than ten euros (Spaghetti Bolognese).

The asparagus plate in Balthasar used to cost 18 euros, now 22. Half a liter of wheat beer is available in certain places for 5.90 euros.

Last year the price was EUR 5.40 compared to only EUR 3.90 in Tripsdrill.”

The user regards the “Ed sundae” for 9.20 euros (previously 6 to 7 euros) as an “absolute price cannon”.

"A certain price increase is clear, but Europa-Park is exaggerating in my opinion." But prices are not only rising enormously in Germany's largest amusement park: Even at Kaufland, Lidl and Co., more and more everyday groceries are becoming "significantly" more expensive.

In addition to negative feedback: also praising comments on the choice of food at Europa-Park

Another Facebook user also considers the experience of a Europa-Park visitor to be “incomprehensible”, reporting: “We were in the park yesterday and almost died of thirst: hardly any food stalls were open.

And if one was open, you had to queue forever.

After 1 p.m. we went.

The only chance was to go to a restaurant, which was a shame given the weather.”

While some express dissatisfaction with the range of food in the park, there are many others who have nothing to complain about.

"You can eat really delicious in the park," says one user.

Some fans agree.

“From fish rolls to tarte flambée: the selection is very large.

There is something for every taste,” one commented.

"We've been coming to the park for 31 years and have always been satisfied with the food and the service," another source said.
