The shelling continues, smoke rises again and again, shots can be heard again and again.
The completely destroyed Mariupol resembles a ghost town.
That people can still survive here at all borders on a miracle.
This woman is making pancakes in front of her bombed-out house.
Her brother's building was also destroyed.

Despite the seemingly hopeless situation, the fighters in the Azovstal steel mill are not thinking of giving up.
