Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov announced that the Russian forces destroyed 17 Ukrainian military sites with high-precision missiles during the past 24 hours.
Konashenkov said in a press statement this evening: “High-precision missiles launched from the air destroyed 17 military sites in Ukraine today, including 8 gathering areas for military and military equipment, 5 missile and missile launch sites, two fortified points, a command center and a depot for missile and artillery weapons.”
Konashenkov continued, "The Russian Air Force destroyed two command centers, 9 fortified points and areas for the concentration of troops and equipment, in addition to 5 ammunition and fuel depots, eliminated 200 extremists, and destroyed 23 armored vehicles and military vehicles."
Konashenkov indicated that the Russian missile and artillery forces destroyed 319 areas for stationing forces and equipment, 12 command centers and two warehouses for missile and artillery weapons.
Konashenkov pointed out that the Russian air defense systems downed a Su-25 fighter belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force in the Kherson region, two drones, and intercepted 12 missiles fired by Smerch launchers in the Kamunka region of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The total number of enemy targets destroyed since the start of the military operation in Ukraine amounted to 143 aircraft, 112 helicopters, 660 drones, 279 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,678 tanks and other armored vehicles, 308 rocket launchers, 1,196 pieces of field artillery and mortars, and 2,503 military vehicles.
