Shooting attack at the entrance to Ariel: A 23-year-old security guard physically protected his fiancée - and was shot dead;

The terrorists were apprehended by a YMCA force

Terrorist attack in Samaria: A security guard was killed last night (Friday night) at the entrance to the city of Ariel by a terrorist cell.

The murdered security guard, 23, physically protected his fiancée who was with him in the guard booth, and she was not harmed.

Security forces launched a manhunt for the two terrorists - who fled the scene in a vehicle.

This afternoon, the terrorists were apprehended by a YMCA force in a Palestinian village near Ariel.

A video circulated on social media today claimed that al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, one of Fatah's armed groups, claimed responsibility for the attack in Ariel.

Other organizations welcomed the attack, saying it was a "gift from the Palestinian people."

The inciting sheikh from the Guardian of the Walls was arrested

The inciting sheikh from Lod, Yosef Elbaz, was arrested today in Jerusalem for incitement.

He was accused of inciting violence on Facebook and threatening the deputy mayor of Lod.

In addition, he was convicted last December of threatening offenses and assault with a cold weapon.

A further investigation was also opened against him for incitement.

An Israeli couple entered Qalqilya to shop - and were robbed

The police received a report today about the theft of an Israeli car inside Qalqilya.

Preliminary interrogation involves a Jewish-Israeli couple, residents of the center who entered Qalqilya for shopping.

Near one of the shops, the man got out of the vehicle and at this point suspects arrived, sprayed them with pepper spray, took his partner out of the vehicle and fled.

During the incident, the woman was lightly injured and evacuated to a hospital. The two were taken out of Qalqilya by another person and joined the police and army forces at the scene.
